With all the pressures we experience, whether at work or stuck in traffic, it's not surprising that every now and then the pounding pain of a headache strikes. But you might be surprised at just how common headaches are in children.
"Ten percent of children suffer from migraine headaches," says Dr. Kenneth Mack, a pediatric neurologist at Mayo Clinic. "Probably a higher percentage suffers from tension-type headaches. Fortunately, most of these children will have infrequent headaches."
