A physician with Jacksonville's Mayo Clinic has been charged with fraudulently obtaining pain and sleep medications and fired from the hospital.

Pulmonary specialist Jesus Antonio Diaz, 48, of Ponte Vedra Beach was arrested Wednesday after a pharmacist became suspicious and checked his prescription profile, according to a Jacksonville Sheriff's Office arrest report.
