Mayo Clinic Health System in Cannon Falls affirmed plans to build a new medical center on a 36-acre parcel of land owned by the Cannon Falls Hospital District (CFHD)… "When the hospital district affiliated with Mayo Health System on April 1, 2006, a commitment was made to begin construction of a new medical center by April 1, 2013. We intend to meet that commitment and, if all goes well, move into a new medical center by mid-to-late 2014," says Dr. Tom Witt, chief executive officer of Mayo Clinic Health System in Cannon Falls.
