New focus on flu prevention at Mayo Clinic

 For the first time, Mayo Clinic will mandate that all employees be vaccinated against seasonal flu this year — unless they formally decline. "Mayo has a responsibility to keep our patients safe," says a memo to employees from the clinic. "By ensuring that our employees and students are vaccinated, we greatly reduce the possibility that patients could contract influenza during their stay at Mayo."
