Can’t sleep? Your habits might be the culprit

By

The quality of sleep a person gets at night affects almost every aspect of his or her life — everything from emotions and behavior to growth to blood pressure. Surprisingly, more than 100 million Americans regularly do not get a good night’s sleep, according to the American Academy of Sleep Medicine…Mayo Clinic sleep specialist Timothy Morgenthaler M.D., says both the quality and quantity of sleep are key aspects to a good night’s sleep. “If your sleep is frequently interrupted or cut short, you’re not getting quality sleep,” Morgenthaler says. “And the quality of your sleep is just as important as the quantity.”
