KU Hospital rates high among teaching centers

The University of Kansas Hospital was ranked second among 101 academic medical centers included in a quality and safety survey compiled by University HealthSystem Consortium. The KU facility in Kansas City, Kan., was rated below only the University of Colorado Hospital, but it was ranked just ahead of the Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
