By

The Mayo Clinic, long known for drawing patients from around the globe to its U.S. hospitals, is taking a serious look at opening an outpost in India… Details were not forthcoming due to the "very preliminary" nature of the discussions. But spokesman Bryan Anderson confirmed that Mayo "is exploring the possibility of collaborating with partners to build and operate a medical facility in India.”… Dr. David Hayes, medical director of Mayo's International Office and Affiliated Practice Network declined to speak directly about any projects in India.
