The Saskatoon Health Region is no longer sending pathology samples to Regina for testing, but some samples are now going out-of-province because of a continued shortage of specialized doctors…Of the 119 neuropathology specimens that required testing since he has been off the job, 17 were sent to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto and another 37 more complicated samples that required a second reading were sent to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
