It was a royal affair at Mayo Clinic in Rochester Friday afternoon. The King and Queen of Norway visited, just one of many stops they made this week in our area. Standing shoulder to shoulder, cameras up and Norwegian flags waving. A group wasn't going to miss a chance to see Norwegian royalty walk into Mayo Clinic…"Its nice to kind of have the opportunity to introduce them here since the community itself feels very close to culture and the heritage," said Annette Lillegard, marketing manager for Mayo Clinic. Dr. Bakken is now the second person in his family to shake hands with a Norwegian king.
