Rail line makes more sense than stadium

By

The overall cost to drive U.S. 52 is over $1 billion a year. The Zip Rail would have 1.8 million passengers a year. Estimated cost of Zip Rail, $970 million, same as the stadium. Passengers will have productive hours on the train — and get to their destination sooner and safer. Rochester will have more access to Twin Cities resources; Twin Cities will have direct access to Mayo Clinic — 365 days a year. The state economy will be more integrated, more dynamic, and more attractive for business.
