Three new projects in northeast Phoenix have had site plans reviewed by city officials, the last step before the projects can move ahead with building permits and other pre-construction needs…The second project, approved on Tuesday, is Mayo Clinic's Proton Therapy facility. The therapy would treat various forms of cancer. It requires a 3 ½-story building that will take up more than 300,000 square feet, including a concrete underground vault to house the equipment.
