National drug return is a hit in Rochester

By

Thirty-eight boxes were filled with bags, bottles and jars of pills, powders, capsules and liquids collected from local residents for National Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday. "I'm stunned at the response that we're getting," Mayo Clinic pharmacist Denise Nesbitt said as cars pulled up at Mayo Clinic's Gonda Building. Nesbitt is the person who proposed the local collection, leading to participation from Mayo and the Rochester Police Department.
