Mayo Clinic brings ‘healthy living’ to megamall

Add the Mayo Clinic to the list of shopkeepers opening early for Black Friday. The Rochester, Minn.-based clinic is opening its health and wellness storefront at the Mall of America at 6 a.m. this Friday and offering its own version of door-buster promotions. Don't expect things to get too crazy… On Monday, the clinic announced a series of changes to the store, which opened in August. It is a prototype for a possible permanent Mayo Clinic facility that would be part of a proposed expansion of the Bloomington mall. Mayo is shedding the store's lengthy name, "Create Your Mayo Clinic Health Experience," and adopting the simpler slogan: "Mayo Clinic Healthy Living."
