The effect of the proposed acquisition of the Red Wing hospital by Mayo Health System on the planned building of the new Cannon Falls hospital was discussed at the December 1 meeting of the Cannon Falls Hospital District Board… Discussion on the future of the Cannon Falls hospital and the effect of the proposed acquisition of the Fairview Red Wing Hospital by Mayo Clinic Health System brought up the possibility that in the future Cannon Falls, Lake City and Red Wing could operate as a regional system.
