Twenty-one shots rang out Tuesday to salute a man who lost his life while trying to save the life of another. Friends and family gathered at the Jacksonville National Cemetery to say their final goodbyes to David Hines, who was one of three victims killed in a helicopter crash last week in Clay County. Hines was a procurement technician at Mayo Clinic and a Vietnam veteran. He was traveling to Gainesville to pick up a donor heart for a transplant surgery.
