Lake City Officer Critical, But Responsive at St. Marys
Lake City police identified the officer as 32 year-old, Shawn Schneider. He's a 9 year veteran of the force and right now he's fighting for his life here at Saint Marys hospital…Police say Schneider was shot once in the neck. Earlier in the day, Majcrzak stopped by Saint Marys hospital to check on Schneider's condition and speak with his family. "He's holding his own. He's got a lot of support over there and he's got a lot of support from within his community and the police department itself," says Majcrzak.
