It was at some point in mid-September, towards the end of an embarrassing, disastrous 99-loss season, when Minnesota Twins owner and CEO Jim Pohlad decided he had to draw a line in the sand…With Joe Mauer bouncing back and forth from Mayo Clinic, nowhere near a baseball diamond, and Justin Morneau undergoing the second, third and fourth surgeries of his third straight injury-plagued season -- not to mention another round of concussion symptoms -- Pohlad removed his fan glasses and instead put on his business specs.
