Count by the cup — Bulk up to lose weight


Did you eat apple pie, fudge bars, a candy cane, crackers, cheese, doughnuts and a cookie or two (or six) after Christmas or Hanukkah dinner? Do you plan to have chips and dip during the Super Bowl? Diane Dressel, a registered dietitian with Mayo Clinic Health System and a program coordinator for weight-management services in Eau Claire, Wis., has some advice: If you want to lose weight, eat more fruits and vegetables every day.
