My column is usually filled with stories from the campaign trail or the political world. For over 11 years I have very proudly been a nationally syndicated columnist based out of what I consider to be one of our nation’s best newspapers, The Florida Times-Union. In recent weeks, some wonderful people arranged for a member of my family to be examined at Jacksonville’s Mayo Clinic. I have never seen such an attentive staff, clean hospital and precision-like efficiency in my life.
