Committee happy to see Hormel Institute request

A request for $13.5 million in state funding to expand the Hormel Institute in Austin won praise and support on Tuesday from state lawmakers…Austin's Port Authority is seeking $13.5 million from the state to expand the institute to create the International Center of Research and Technology.
