WMC turnover questioned

Questions about turnover at Winneshiek Medical Center were brought up at Wednesday's Board of Trustees meeting. Bill Tisue, an attendee from Decorah, questioned the Board about the numbers of staff leaving, particularly in the pain-services department… There has been turnover in that department, said Dr. Brian Dougan, Mayo Clinic Health System internal medicine specialist at WMC. The department has chosen to align its standards with those of the Mayo Clinic Health System, which are more stringent than state of Iowa requirements.
