The largest city-facilitated private bond issuance since the construction of Mayo Clinic's Gonda Building more than a decade ago won Rochester City Council approval Wednesday. The bond issuance, again requested by Mayo Clinic, is for as much as $200 million. Bond sale proceeds would be used to build and equip the Richard O. Jacobson Building, home to Mayo Clinic's proton beam therapy program in Minnesota, and to renovate, build and equip other facilities on Mayo's Rochester campuses.
