Doctors Donate Funds to Benefit La Crosse Area Food Shelves

By

Doctors from Mayo Clinic Health System are helping La Crosse area food pantries stock their shelves. In honor of National Doctors Day, the doctors from Mayo presented checks for $3,500 to 12 food pantries. National Doctors Day, established as a national holiday in 1991, works to identify and celebrate the accomplishments and efforts of all physicians. “We are thankful every day for the care that our doctors provide to our patients and communities in Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota,” says David Rushlow, MD, Chief Medical Officer at Mayo Clinic Health System-La Crosse.
