Mayo Clinic researchers say a rare fungal infection that can lead to a cancer-like mass in the intestinal region has surfaced in Arizona and other desert regions…"There is no unique symptom that we can say yes, you have this particular infection. Most of the patients have had abdominal pain, they've had constipation. Some patients have felt a mass themselves in their abdomen," said Dr. H.R. Vikram of the Mayo Clinic.
