The Phoenix City Council has approved moving forward with the biomedical campus proposed by Mayor Greg Stanton in northeast Phoenix. The council on Tuesday approved a measure enabling city management to proceed with a memorandum of understanding with two partners in the proposed campus: Mayo Clinic and Arizona State University. In the coming months, the city, Mayo Clinic and ASU will jointly plan for the Arizona Biomedical Corridor.
