An investigation into missing prescription drugs at Jacksonville’s Mayo Clinic shows that hundreds of pain-killing medications were reported missing at the hospital at the San Pablo Road hospital, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office… Mayo released the following statement about the matter: “Upon learning of the incident we conducted a thorough internal investigation. These patient medications were brought from home and stored in a cabinet in an area where patients, visitors and employees had access. We have shared information learned in that investigation with the appropriate authorities and will continue to aid in their investigation. This incident did not impact patient care in any way and the patients’ medications have been replaced.”
