Good News for Coffee Lovers: Benefits Outweigh the Cons


New evidence shows java drinkers are a little more likely to live longer. Regular or decaf, it doesn’t matter.  People who drink up to six cups a day have a lower risk of dying, according to a study by the National Institutes of Health and the AARP.…Published this month in the New England Journal of Medicine, the study adds to the on-going research on coffee’s effects, said Dr. Donald Hensrud, chairman of preventive, occupational and aerospace medicine at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn., and a native of Grand Forks.
