Mayo Clinic and TPT-Twin Cities PBS teamed up to create a three part documentary series called 'The Opioid Fix' which looks at how the opioid epidemic started and what we as individual communities and a nation can to do help tackle it. Parts of the documentary were shown during a panel discussion Tuesday night at Mayo Clinic. Part 1, Part 2, Part 3

Reach: KAAL is owned by Hubbard Broadcasting Inc., which owns all ABC Affiliates in Minnesota including KSTP in Minneapolis-St. Paul and WDIO in Duluth. KAAL, which operates from Austin, also has ABC satellite stations in Alexandria and Redwood Falls. KAAL serves Southeast Minnesota and Northeast Iowa.
