Detroit Mayor Bing Treated for Acute Pulmonary Embolism
Detroit Mayor Dave Bing is being treated for blood clots in both lungs, city officials said this afternoon. The condition, pulmonary embolism, can be life-threatening. It involves blood clots moving from other parts of the body into the lungs, commonly legs, according to the Mayo Clinic. Detroit Free Press 4/5/12
