Grant funds pursuit of cancer treatment

The Mayo Clinic Cancer Center has received a five-year grant for $11.5 million “to translate research into treatments for women with ovarian cancer.”   Mayo’s three campuses in Minnesota, Florida and Arizona together make up one of the country’s 39 “comprehensive cancer centers” as designated by the National Cancer Institute, Mayo notes.
